2 sticks of butter(salted or unsalted)
1 cup of sugar
Saltine crackers(salted or unsalted)
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Toppings: may include crushed nuts, swirled, white or peanut butter chips, M&M's or other candy pieces ,and any toppings of your choice.

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400º.
2. Line cookie sheet with tin foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
3. Line prepared cookie sheet with crackers.
4. Melt two sticks of butter in saucepan and add 1 cup of sugar, stirring constantly.
5. When mixture boils, cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
6. Spread mixture over the crackers and bake in preheated oven on center rack for 5 minutes.
7. Remove from oven; sprinkle 2 cups of semisweet chocolate chips over the top and spread evenly as they begin to melt.
8. Add the toppings of your choice and refrigerate overnight; and then break into pieces.
