5 to 6 apples, pared, cored and sliced
1 tbsp. cinnamon
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 cups sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
4 large eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 cup orange juice
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Grease and flour a bundt pan and heat oven to 350 degrees. Dust apples with cinnamon; set aside. In a large bowl mix the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients, and add the oil, beaten eggs, orange juice and vanilla. Combine for a smooth batter.
Slowly pour a third of the batter into the prepared pan. Arrange half the sliced apples on top. Pour another third of the batter on top of the apples. Place the rest of the apples on top and then pour the rest of the batter to cover the apples. Bake at 350 degrees for On and a half hours or until the cake is a golden color and te tester came out clean.
