2 c. white sugar
2 c. brown sugar
2 c. shortening
4 eggs
4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. oatmeal
12 oz chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Beat together the sugars and shortening. Stir in the eggs. Add in the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add the vanilla, oatmeal and chocolate chips and stir until well combined. Drop by tablespoonful onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375º for 8-10 minutes.
