1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup sour cream (or plain yogurt for a lower fat recipe)
1 can Golden Mushroom Soup
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp. salt
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup Parmesan or Romano cheese

Biscuits:
2 cups flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. cream of tarter
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup butter, margarine or shortening
1 cup milk

Directions:
Brown beef & onion in a Dutch Oven or other oven safe pot, pour off grease.
In a separate bowl, combine soup, milk, sour cream & ketchup. Add to ground beef mixture. Sprinkle the salt over the dish and mix in. Drop biscuits around the edges and sprinkle the dish with cheese.

Bake at 350º until biscuits are brown on top.

Biscuits:
Combine dry ingredients and cut in butter to course crumb. Create a well & add all milk. Stir until JUST combined.

Emily and I have been great friends since the second grade and have eaten many, many meals together! Her mom made this for Emily, Aimee & me one night and I absolutely loved it! It is great comfort food for cold winter nights!
