1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 c. nuts
Filling:
1 pkg. strawberries, partially thawed
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 T. lemon juice
2 egg whites, unbeaten
1 cup whipped cream
1 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
For crust, mix lightly and put in 9x13 pan. Brown in 400 degree oven, stirring \occasionally, about 10 minutes. Use for bottom and top of dessert.

In large bowl, place partially thawed berries and the rest of the ingredients. Beat 15 minutes at high speed until fluffy and thick. Fold in 1 cup of the whipped cream and vanilla. Pour into cooled crust; sprinkle with remaining crumbs. Freeze. Can be served right from freezer.

My Mom made this for the 4th of July festivities. We would have people over to watch fireworks and then she would serve this as dessert.
I made it once or twice for you and you really liked it. A good summer treat.
