5 tbsp butter
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. evaporated milk
1.5 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. nuts
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter; add brown sugar and evaporated milk. Boil three minutes over low heat, brushing down crystals from sides of pan. (A teflon pan works well.) Remove from heat and add powdered sugar. Beat until creamy. Add nuts and vanilla. Pour into a well-buttered 8-inch square pan. Cool and cut into squares.
