15 oz. can of pumkin
1 Tbsp. molasses
2 rounded Tbsp. flour
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1 1/2 cups milk
2 eggs beaten with a fork until light and frothy
1 unbaked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all of the ingredients except milk and eggs. Add milk and stir until well blended. Add beaten eggs and mix well. Pour in crust.

Bake at 450º for 10 minutes and then turn down to 325º. Bake for 1 -1 1/4 hour, or until fork comes out clean when checking filling. Cool on wire rack.
Serve with whipped cream,

The molasses makes all the difference. Takes the edge off of the "veggie" taste of pumpkin! It has traditionally been made by the men of our house.
