1 box fudge marble cake mix
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
1 1 oz. bottle of red food coloring
1 tsp. vanilla
5 Tbsp. flour
1 cup milk
1/2 cup Crisco
1 stick margarine
1 cup sugar
2 tsp. vanilla

Combine all cake ingredients and beat on low for 2 minutes. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9 inch round cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool.
For frosting: Whisk flour and milk in saucepan until smooth. Bring to boil and cook and stir until thickened. Cover and refrigerate. In mixing bowl, cream margarine, Crisco, and sugar. Add chilled milk mixture; beat for 10 minutes or until fluffy. Stir in vanilla.
