1 tsp. grated lemon peel
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Sprinkle yeast into warm water in a large mixing bowl (or food processor bowl) and let stand until dissolved. Beat in 1/4 c. butter, 2 tbsp. sugar, egg, lemon peel and salt. Gradually add enough four to make a soft dough. Beat well. Turn out dough onto floured board and knead until satiny and no longer sticky. Place in a greased bowl and butter top of dough lightly. Cover with a clean kitchen towel and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size. Punch dough down and turn out onto floured board. Knead lightly. Roll out into a 15-inch circle and place in a greased 14-inch pizza pan or on a baking sheet. Form a rim around the edge. Spread with remaining 1/4 c. soft butter and sprinkle with the remaining 1/4 c. sugar. Let stand in a warm place 20 mins. Bake in a 500 F oven 6 mins. or until golden brown. Serve at once, hot, cut into pie-shaped wedges. Accompany with vanilla-flavored whipped cream and fresh berries or sliced peaches.
