1 whole chicken
Salt and pepper
4 feet of heavy duty aluminum foil, 18" wide
1 large metal bucket
1 shovel
1 cleaned stick, 1" in diameter, several inches longer than chicken

Directions:
Directions:
Make a coal fire.

Salt and pepper chicken.

Use 1 1/2 feet of foil to crush around end of stick, Push other end into the ground where coals have been and where the rest of the foil is covering the dirt.

Put chicken on stick, legs down.

Put bucket over chicken. Don't let chicken touch the bucket anywhere.

Shovel coals over bucket about halfway up the sides and over the top.

Let cook for one hour.

Clean off coals, remove bucket carefully, and enjoy 1 golden browned chicken. Serves 4-6
