Nani's Chocolate Cake Recipe

1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup crisco
2 squares of chocolate, melted
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 egg yolks
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons vinegar
1/2 cup hot water
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla

3/4 package confectioners sugar
2 lumps butter
little milk

1. Preheat oven 350, Mix sugar, crisco, chocolate, salt and egg yolks with a mixer.

2. Add flour, milk and vinegar to mixture alternating flour and milk.

3. Add hot water,baking soda vanilla. Beat egg whites stiff and fold in egg whites. Don't beat.

4. Bake for 40-45 minutes in 8 1/2 round tube pan. ( it should look almost wet

5. Icing: Mix confectioners sugar, butter, milk and vanilla. Add icing when cool
