2 c. canned chickpeas, drained - reserve liquid
1 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 c. tahini (sesame paste)
6 tbsp. fresh lemon juice (2 lemons)
2 tbsp. water or liquid from the chickpeas
8 dashes Tabasco sauce

Directions:

Place all ingredients in food processor and process until coarsely pureed. Serve either room temperature or chilled. Will keep in refrigerators for a week.
