Ingredients:  
1 small or 1/2 large cabbage, sliced
1 medium onion, sliced
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 stick butter
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
French fried onions

Directions:
Directions:
Place sliced cabbage in 3 qt casserole.
Add onion
Melt 1/2 stick butter and pour over cabbage.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Combine soup and mayonnaise; spread over cabbage mixture.
Melt remaining 1/2 stick of butter and add cheese; pour over cabbage mixture.
Bake 35 minutes at 350º
Place French fried onions on top and bake 6 more minutes or until golden brown
