Ingredients:  
3 C Flour
1 tsp salt,
4 tsp baking powder
3 T white sugar
1c butter
1 – 1 ¼ c milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix 1st 4 ingredients.
Cut in butter until crumbly.
Add milk until correct consistency for rolling.
Roll out and cut into circles.
Sprinkle with sugar, if desired.
Bake 400º for 10 – 15 minutes

Have been making these for a long time. The
recipe comes from my sister-in-law's mother who passed away a
few years ago.
The biscuits turn out quite fluffy and if you top with sugar, they
are good for strawberry shortcake.
