Loin Tri Tip Steak
yellow potatoes
carrots
celery
mushrooms
1 sweet onion
7 garlic cloves
2 1/2c beef broth
3c water
1c pinot noir wine
3 bay leafs
2 rosemary sprigs
olive oil
cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. Chop 1/4 of the sweet onion and crush 3 cloves of garlic. Brown these with the steak in olive oil. In a pan, roast chopped veggies, browned meat, seasoning, 4 whole garlic cloves, 1/2 the onion in peels, with 2c of water for 1-1 1/2 hours. Combine 1c water, 2 1/2c broth, 1c pinot noir, and the rest of onion peels in a stock pot and start to heat up. When stock pot starts to simmer, add contents from the roasting pan and simmer for a few hours. Thicken with cornstarch.
