1 cup flour
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c unsweetened cocoa, divided
2 Tablespoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon . salt
1/2 cup milk
2 Tablespoon butter or margarine melted
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 3/4 cup boiling water
Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, sugar, 1.2 cup cocoa, baking powder and salt in bowl. Stir in milk, butter & vanilla until smooth. Then stir in chocolate chips. Spread in ungreased shallow 1 l/2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa on top. Place in 350 degree oven. Pour boiling water over the top. Bake 35 minutes.
Cool 10 minutes before serving. Serve with ice cread. (Mint or vanilla is good )
