1 c chopped onion
1 c chopped celery
1/2 green pepper chopped
1 clove garlic minced
2 T olive oil
1&1/2 lbs.ground beef
1can(1lb 12oz) Italian tomatoes
12 oz tomato paste
1&1/4 t salt
1 T sugar
1 t oregano
1/4 t basil
1/2 t pepper
1/4 lb fresh mushrooms
1/2 lb lasagna cooked
12 oz sliced mozzarella cheese
1/2 lb ricotta cheese or cottage cheese
1/2 c Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion,celery,green pepper and garlic in oil for 5 min.
Add beef and cook 5 min longer stirring frequently. Add tomatoes,tomato paste,and seasonings.
simmer 2 hrs,stirring occasionally,Add mushrooms.
greases 9x13 baking dish. Pour a layer of sauce on the bottom , add a layer of noodles then sauce. Cover with mozzarella, a few tablespoons ricotta and then grated Parmesan. Repeat until all is used. Finish with sauce on top. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes.
