3T butter
3T blanched green peppers cut to 1 inch
1T grated onion
2T flour
1 c milk
1 tsp salt
3 hard boiled eggs
½ c buttered bread crumbs
½ c grated cheddar cheese
Pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter, add onions & green peppers, cook until tender. Add flour & milk, cook until smooth and thick. Add seasonings. Alternate layers of asparagus and egg slices in a greased baking dish. Pour the sauce over. Top with buttered bread crumbs then the cheese. Bake @ 350º for 20 minutes.
