4 ½ c. sugar
1 tall can (1 2/3 cups) evaporated milk
4 tbsp. butter
¼ tsp. salt
12 oz. chocolate chips
12 oz. sweet chocolate bars, broken up
1 pt. marshmallow crème
2 c. broken nuts
1 tbsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In large heavy saucepan combine sugar, milk, butter and salt. Over medium heat bring to a full rolling boil and let boil six minutes. Stir carefully so sugar won’t scorch. Measure remaining ingredients into large bowl. Pour boiling syrup over, stir until chocolate is melted and blended. Pour fudge into two buttered 8 or 9 inch square pans or foil pie pans or a 9 inch by 13 inch pan. Chill until firm; cut into squares. To store, keep in tightly covered container. Freezes well. Yield: Approximately 5 pounds.
