1 c. Shortening
1 c. Smooth peanut butter
1 c. White Sugar
1 c. Brown Sugar (packed)
2 Eggs
2 1/2 c. Flour
1 tsp. Baking powder
1/2 tsp. Baking soda
1/2 tsp. Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together thoroughly the shortening, peanut butter, sugars and eggs. Combine the dry ingredients and stir into the peanut butter mixture. Chill dough. Roll into balls size of large walnut. Place 3" apart on lightly greased cookie sheet. Flatten with a fork dipped into flour or sugar (criss-cross). Bake until set, but not hard. 375º for 10 - 12 minutes.
