Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
6 croissants
12 eggs
3 cups half and half
8 oz. cream cheese
1 cup maple syrup
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, cream cheese and syrup. Microwave until heated. Mix. Tear croissants and place in two 9x13 pans. Pour syrup mixture over croissants. Mix eggs, half and half and vanilla. Pour over croissants, cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 for 30-45 minutes. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.

I like to add apples occasionally. To do that: saute peeled and sliced granny smiths in butter, a little white sugar, brown sugar to taste, and cinnamon (2-3 apples for each 9x13). Put apples in after you have poured the syrup mixture over the croissants. Then pour egg mixture on top.

I also make cinnamon sauce to replace syrup:..

1/2 c. white sugar
4 tsp. cornstarch
cinnamon (generous)
1 cup spiced apple cider (or regular, or juice)
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Stir until bubbly. Serve over sinful French toast
