2 cups Banana Nut Cheerios cereal
1 cup Cinnamon Chex or Corn Chex cereal
1 cup small pretzel twists
1/2 cup walnut halves or substitute another nut
1 egg white
1 tablespoon orange juice or water
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
4 cups popped 94% fat-free microwave popcorn (Boy Scouts Trails End popcorn works best!)
1 cup banana chips (the freeze dried crunchy type)

Serves 8

At home: Heat oven to 300°F. Spray large roasting pan with cooking spray or grease with shortening. In large bowl, mix cereals, pretzels and walnuts; set aside.

In medium bowl, beat egg white, orange juice, sugar and cinnamon with wire whisk until well blended. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated. Stir in popcorn. Spread in pan.

Bake 25 to 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes, until light brown and crisp. Remove from oven; stir in banana chips.

Cool completely, about 30 minutes. Package in small zip top bags, 1 for each patrol member.

On the trail: Pass out snack bags and enjoy!
