3 c liquid (liquid and drippings from roasting pan plus chicken broth to make a total of 3 C)
3/4 c cold water
6 tbsp. flour
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Pour the liquid and drippings from roasting pan into a container. Skim fat from the top. Add enough chicken broth to measure about 3 cups. Put into a pan and heat until the liquid is hot. In the meantime add the flour to the cold water in a covered jar and shake until smooth. Stir the water/flour mixture slowly into the hot broth until the gravy is the desired thickness and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Add salt pepper to taste.
