1 c. cooking oil
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon or allspice
3 c. apples, chopped
1 c. pecans, chopped

Icing
1 (sm.) can Pet milk with enough sweet milk
added to make 1 cup
3 egg yolks
1 c. sugar
1 T. butter
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Mix cake ingredients and pour into tube pan. Bake for 45 min. to 1 hr. or until a toothpick inserted in cake comes out clean. Icing: Bring milk, egg yolks, and sugar to a bubbling boil; remove from heat and add butter, nuts, vanilla and coconut. Allow to cool and spread on cake.
