1 c. margarine, softened
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. Quaker oats
1 c. walnuts, may use pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Beat together margarine and both sugars until creamy; add eggs and vanilla; beat well. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and cinnamon. Add to first mixture and mix well. Stir in oatmeal and walnuts. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 min. or until golden brown.
