1/4 cup chopped onion
½ pound ground beef
½ pound ground veal
3/4 teaspoon salt
Dash white pepper (and/or handful of peppercorns)
1 teaspoon Allspice
½ Cup Bread Crumbs
1 egg




Directions:
Directions:
Cook onion in butter till tender but not brown.
Combine Meats, Seasonings,Bread Crumbs
& Egg, then add onions and let stand for 30 minutes.

Form mixture in 1-inch balls and lightly brown
in a little additional butter, shaking skillet to
turn balls.cook uncovered 12 to 15 minutes
if desired, thicken gravy with corn starch.

Makes 24 Meat Balls.
