Ingredients:  
30 oz. bag of frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 c. sour cream
1/2 c. melted margarine
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. white pepper
2 tsp. instant minced onion or use 1/4 cup
onion that has been sautéed in butter
2 c. shredded mild cheddar cheese

Topping:
1/2 c. melted margarine
2 c. crushed corn flakes

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together all but the potatoes and the topping ingredients. Add the thawed potatoes and put in a 9 x 13 pan. (You do not need to grease the pan.) Mix margarine and corn flakes and put on top. Cover with foil so topping doesn't get too brown when baking. Bake 1 hour at 350º. Remove foil halfway through baking time.
