2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. butter
3 T. cocoa

Icing:

3 T. cocoa
1/2 c. butter
6 T. buttermilk
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla


Directions:
Directions:
Put butter, 1 cup cold water, 3 rounded Tablespoons of cocoa in saucepan and heat until butter melts. Combine flour, sugar and salt in separate bowl. Add hot cocoa to dry ingredients and mix. Then add eggs and vanilla. Add soda to buttermilk and mix then add to batter. Beat well. Pour into large buttered and floured rimmed cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 15-18 minutes

Icing:

Heat cocoa, butter and milk in saucepan. Add to powdered sugar and vanilla. Mix and ice warm cake.
