1 1/2 lbs ground beef
2/3 C cracker crumbs
1/3 C grated onion
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 t salt
1/4 t ginger
1/4 C milk

13.5 oz can crushed pineapple
2 T corn starch/flour
2/3 C brown sugar, packed
1/3 C vinegar
1 T soy sauce
1/3 C green pepper, chopped fine

Combine all ingredients, other than SAUCE, in mixing bowl and make into small meatballs-set aside. Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Combine all SAUCE ingredients in pan, including pineapple juice, but not pineapple. Boil for one minute and let simmer. In separate pan, brown meatballs to done. Pour sauce over meatballs and add crushed pineapple. Cook on low for 30 minutes.
