1 can crescent rolls (preferably the creations kind)
8 oz pkg cream cheese
1/2 cup confectioner sugar
1 egg yolk

Directions:
Directions:
Roll out the dough so it is just a tad bigger than when you take it out of the can. Make slits along the edges. Beat cream cheese, sugar, and egg yolk. Spread into the middle of the dough. Fold over the edges in a criss cross manner. Brush the entire Danish with egg white. Bake at 375 for 15-20 min or till lightly browned. When cool sprinkle with powdered sugar and store in the refrigerator.

My mother has made this every morning for Christmas breakfast since I was born. Now I make it for the staff breakfast, and the faculty always loves it. It really doesn't matter how your finished product looks when it is done. I slice mine into 2 inch pieces and pile on a plate!
