2 cans of asparagus or equal amount of frozen asparagus (cooked)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 box of frozen peas (cooked and drained)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
3 to 4 slices wheat bread
1/4 cup melted margarine

Directions:
Directions:
In 9 by l3 pan or casserole dish, put the asparagus. Mix the mushroom soup with the cooked peas. Spread this over the asparagus. Sprinkle cheese on top. Cut the bread into cubes and arrnge over the cheese layer. Pour the melted margarine over this. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown.

This can be made ahead and frozen. You can also use cooked fresh asparagus.
