6 or 7 Johnathan apples
1/2 - 1 heaping c sugar (depending on how sweet you like your pie)
4 T flour
1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, sugar & cinnamon and spread half in bottom of unbaked pie shell. Slice apples 1/8" thick over mixture. Put remaining mixture over apples. Dot with thin slices of butter. Put on top crust. Bake 425º for 15 minutes, then bake at 350º for 45 minutes or until apples are done.
