Dozens of VT Football fans and at least 1 fan from the visiting team

Gather at the Clubhouse Tailgate 1 hour before kickoff and circle around Senior Hokie. Senior Hokie will then proceed with standard warnings/restrictions about being of age, drinking responsibly, etc. He will then welcome the visiting fan(s) and urge all attending fans to simultaneously down the shot of Wild Turkey. Chasers are optional.

All fans (VT and otherwise) are welcomed back for continuing postgame celebrations regardless of the outcome of the game (which the Hokies generally win).

Additional, private "communion" ceremonies are occasionally available for those who miss the main event.
