2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. water
1 stick oleo
4 T. cocoa
1/2 c. shortening

2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk, add 1 tsp soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Icing:
1 stick oleo
6 T. milk
3 T. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Mix the sugar and flour together. Put remaining ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Pour over the sugar/flour mixture and mix well. Then add the eggs, buttermilk with the soda, and vanilla. Combine. Bake in a greased cookie sheet, 400 degree oven for 20- 25 minutes.
While the cake bakes, I make the icing. Bring the ingredients for the icing to a boil. Remove from heat. Beat in a 1 pound box of powdered sugar. Frost while the cake is warm.
