3/4 cup finely chopped assorted vegetables
(asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini and or mushrooms)
1 nest of angel hair pasta, uncooked
3 Tablespoons butter
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Fill a 3 or 4 quart pot about three—fourths full of water; add vegetables. Bring to a boil. Add pasta to boiling water and cook until pasta is about three—fourths done.(following timing directions given on package or test for doneness). Drain off most, but not all the water. Add butter to mixture in pot, stir well, and continue cooking until the pasta is cooked al dente. (The butter combines with the starchy water to make a sauce that coats the pasta, which is flavored by the cooking with the vegetables). Add salt and pepper to taste.
