"The tradition of Italian cooking is that of the matriarch. This is the cooking of grandma. She didn't waste time thinking too much about the celery. She got the best celery she could and then she dealt with it."--Mario Batali

Ingredients:
2 cans of bean dip
2-3 peeled avocados, mashed
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 pouch of dry taco seasoning
tomatoes, chopped and drained
green onions, chopped
cheddar cheese, shredded
black olives, drained and sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Spread bean dip over large platter. Spread the mashed avocados on top of the bean dip. Mix the sour cream and mayo and spread that next. Sprinkle Taco seasoning over the top. Sprinkle tomatoes, green onions, cheddar cheese and black olives, in that order, to taste. Refrigerate before serving as it helps to "set" the dip.

Best when dipped with tortilla chips or celery sticks.

Personal Notes:
Our kids used to take this to school parties and always came back with an empty platter. Their classmates requested this!
