4 pork chops (about ½ inch thick)
1 tablespoon cooking oil
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup apple juice
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 teaspoon cornstarch
¼ cup cold water
1 or 2 kiwi fruit, peeled and chopped

Brown pork chops in oil, using a 10-inch skillet over medium heat; drain.
Sprinkle with salt. Mix together apple juice, brown sugar, and lime juice; pour over pork chops. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer until pork chops are tender, 20 to 25 minutes. Remove pork chops to a warm platter; keep warm.

Mix cornstarch and water; gradually stir into skillet. Heat to boiling; stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Stir in kiwi fruit. Pour over pork chops, placing dices of kiwi fruit on top of each pork chop.
