2 lbs. chicken thighs, fat removed and cut in half.
2 lbs. chicken breasts, fat removed and cut in quarters

2 jars of Bill Johnson's Barbecue Sauce or enough sauce cover chicken in crock pot

Directions:
Directions:
Spray skillet with non stick spray, brown chicken over medium heat. Place chicken in crock pot and add enough barbecue sauce to cover chicken. Replace cover and cook on low heat for 2 hours before serving. Cooking longer enhances flavor.

When working with raw chicken, I put a mixture of cleaning water, 1 gallon of water/ 2 Tbs. bleach, in the spare sink, I use this mixture to clean before and after working with the chicken.
