1/2 cup flour
3 Tbsp cornmeal
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
3 Tbsp butter
Frozen green beans

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients except green beans together in large plastic sack. Thaw green beans and let excess water drain away. Add green beans to seasonings. Shake well until beans are completely coated. Heat butter in skillet until bubbly. Add beans. Cook over high heat, stirring occasionally. Cook 10 minutes or until coating is crunchy and brown. . Serve hot, with pink ocean salt.

Des and I found this recipe in a stack of Workbasket recipes that was given to us by my mother, who received them from a friend. This recipe from the August 1986 issue, calls for canned green beans. This recipe made with frozen beans is fabulous.
