1 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
3 Tbsp cocoa
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla

1 cup packed brown sugar
3 Tbsp cocoa

1 1/2 cups hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Combine first five ingredients. Stir in milk and vanilla. Pour batter into 9" pan. Combine brown sugar and last 3 Tbsp cocoa. Sprinkle over cake batter. Pour hot water over batter. Do not stir. bake at 350º for 40 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched in center. Serve warm.

This recipe creates a chocolaty fudge on the bottom of the cake while cooking, so serve this cake warm out of the oven with vanilla ice cream. YUM.
