3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl, stir together flour and baking powder. Set aside. In a large bowl, beat butter and cream cheese. Add sugar, beat until fluffy. Add egg, vanilla, and almond extract. Beat well. Gradually, add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture, beating well after each addition. Divide the dough into thirds. Cover and chill overnight. Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface until the dough is approximately 1/8 in. thick. Cut, place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375º for 6-8 minutes or until the cookies are very light brown around the edge. Remove and cool on a wire rack.
