1 cup chocolate cookie crumbs (we use famous)
6 tbsp. butter, melted
1 package baker's semi sweet chocolate
1/4 cup butter
3 eggs
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
5 3/4 cups thawed cool whip

Line 9x5 loaf pan with waxed paper strips that extend over sides
Mix crumbs with the 6 tbsp. butter - set aside
Melt 7 squared of chocolate and 1/4 cup butter in microwave. Cool
Beat eggs in large bowl
Beat in sugar at high speed until thick - about 10 minutes
Fold chocolate mixture and vanilla, then 4 cups whipped topping
Spoon 1 1/2 cups into pan
Sprinkle with 2/3 cup crumbs, press lightly
Repeat layers, ender with crumbs
Freeze 6 hours

Melt remaining chocolate, cool slightly
Invert dessert onto plate, spread with remaining cool whip and drizzle with melted chocolate
Store in freezer
