Generously cover one slice of bread with pork 'n beans (approximately 1/2 can). Add 3 ginger snaps or enough to cover.

Savor to the utmost.

Brother Nord's favorite sandwich originated with our maternal grandmother, Hattie Elwell.

Note: Nord's basic modification was to go from "whole wheat" to "white" bread.

The addition of potato chips and/or dill pickles would not change the integrity of this sandwich.
