2 cups sugar
1/4 cup cinnamon candy (candy hearts)
6 medium apples - sliced

Directions:
Prepare a medium sugar syrup by boiling water, sugar and candy for 5 minutes (until dissolved).

Add apple slices and simmer until tender.
