-2 large eggs
-1 1/2 C. sugar
-1/2 tsp. salt
-2 T. vanilla
-2 C. heavy whipping cream
-1 tsp. ground nutmeg

Directions:
In heavy 4 QT sauce pan beat eggs, sugar, and salt with wire whisk. Gradually stir in 1 QT milk. Cooking over low heat and stirring constantly for about 20 to 25 min and the mixture is between 170 and 175 deg or until the mixture coats the back of a spoon well. Next, poor mixture into a large bowl. Stir in vanilla, nutmeg and remaining milk. To serve, beat heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold into eggnog mixture, ladle and serve
