Ingredients:  
1 1/2 lb stew meat
2 Tbls. flour
2 tsp. Vegetable oil
2 large onions thinly sliced, about 3 cups
2 cups sliced mushrooms
2 cloves garlic minced
2 tsp. tomato paste
2 cups beef broth
4 cups sliced carrots
2 med. Potatoes, chunks, about 2 cups
1 cup of green bean, cut in pieces.
1 Tbls corn starch and 1 Tbls. cold water

Directions:
Directions:
Coat beef with flour and brown, abut 6 minutes.
Add onions and mushrooms and sauté 6 minutes
Add garlic sauté for 1 minute
Pour off fat
Return beef to pot, stir in tomato paste, then add broth.
Add enough water to cover and bring to boil.
Reduce heat to low and simmer beef until tender, 1 1/2 hrs.
Skim foam.
Add carrots potatoes and green beans and simmer 1/2 hour.
Add cornstarch mixture and stir into beef stew.
Boil for 1 minute.
