1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas (3 med.)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
Pinch salt

Cream cheese frosting:
1 pkg. (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash salt
2 1/2 cups confectioners sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Bars: In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, bananas and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Pour into a greased 15x10x1 baking pan. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until bars test done. Cool.

Frosting: Blend cream cheese, milk, vanilla and salt. Gradually add sugar, beating until frosting is smooth and of spreading consistency. If necessary, stir in additional milk, 1 tsp. at a time. Spread on cooled bars.
