8 lemons
1 liter alcohol or vodka (95%)
700 grams sugar
1 1/2 liter water

Peel lemons. In a large container (one with a lid) place lemon peels, and alcohol. Cover and let macerate for 40 hours.

When the waiting period has ended, boil water and
sugar for a few minutes, and let cool. Pour cooled water and sugar mixture into the container with the lemon peels and alcohol. Remove peels and pour liquor through a sieve. Pour into bottle(s). Place into freezer and enjoy.
