1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. applesauce
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar in mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs 1 at a time. In a small bowl combine flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Add to creamed mixture alternately with applesauce, mixing well after each addition. Spoon into greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350º for about 1 hour....do not over bake.
