1/2 lb. bacon diced and fried
1/2 c. bacon grease
2 c. water
1/2 c. scant sugar
1/2 c. apple cider vinegar
1/4 c flour
1/2 c. Hellmans mayonnaise
2 eggs beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Fry bacon. Reserve grease. Add water, sugar and vinegar to grease. heat to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat. Mix flour and water together. Add to mixture to thicken. Put back on burner to heat. Remove again and add mayonnaise - use beater or whisk to mix smooth.
Return to heat - cook until smooth.
Remove from heat - let set a few minutes. Add eggs gradually.
Heat slowly.
Pour over potatoes, bacon, onions, boiled sliced eggs and anything else you like in your potato salad.
Salt to taste.
